Wojahn Programs 9th Season of Casket Cinema

Mark Wojahn and Wilbur Ince have debuted a 9th season of their Casket Cinema. Northeast Minneapolis' only microcinema is located in Wojahn's studio in the Northwestern Casket Company. It is becoming known for showing the best in activist indie themed documentaries. The cinema thrives on post film discussion and a call to action concerning the topics of the films. Almost all films have speakers or filmmakers in house to talk of the important subjects raised in the movie. On the docket for this year are: 

*Bikes Vs. Cars, Special Guest Seth Stattmeuller of Recovery Bike Shop

Racing Extinction, Special guest tbd.

Running On Climate, special guests tbd. 

Where to Invade Next, special guests the Twin City Artist Front & Vets for Peace. 

Robert Bly, special guest Producer Dominic Howes.

* Beyond The Divide, special guests filmmaker Jan Selby, Dave Lodson of Vets for Peace and mediator Janet Rowles. 

* Killing Us Softly 4, special guests; Pilar Gerasimo of Experience Life Magazine, Abby Stavig of Olson Advertising and Antonnette Trussoni of A&E Casting.

* War On Whistle Blowers, special guest professor and award winning author Heidi Kitrosser and 9/11 FBI Agent and whistleblower Coleen Rowley.

*Backyard Trailer Explosion, special guest film collector Mark Har and others TBD. 

*The Interrupters, special guests from the Alternative to Violence Project (AVP) and others TBD. 

*Salt of the Earth, special guests photographers Vance Gellert, Keith Holmes and others tbd.

Wojahn's Production Designs for History Channel

Mark Wojahn has production designed 4 episodes of content for the History Channel's new TV series "True Monsters". Filmed in 2014 but premiering on October 9th, 2015, Wojahn led the production's art department in its reinactments of historical and mythical sequences. Wojahn's short films to play St.Anthony Main

Mark Wojahn's short films on public art, "Soundtrack of Phillips" and "Liz Miller" will be screening on Saturday 10/17/15 at 1pm. Come down to the St. Anthony Main theater and celebrate public art!

Wojahn Props for Woody Harrelson

Mark Wojahn spent the summer of 2015 as the propmaster for the movie, "Wilson". Fox Searchlight was in town with lead actor Woody Harrelson to make the film adaptation of the graphic novel by Daniel Clowes.
