Wojahn programs 8th season of Casket Cinema!

Mark Wojahn and Wilbur Ince have debuted an 8th season of their Casket Cinema. Northeast Minneapolis' only microcinema is located in Wojahn's studio in the Northwestern Casket Company. It is becoming known for showing the best in activist indie themed documentaries. The cinema thrives on post film discussion and a call to action concerning the topics of the films. Almost all films have speakers or filmmakers in house to talk of the important subjects raised in the movie. On the docket for this year are: 

Just Eat It, special guests tbd. 

*DamNation, special guest Amy Childers of the Minnesota DNR.

Beyond The Divide, special guests filmmaker Jan Selby, Dave Lodson of Vets for Peace and mediator Janet Rowles. 

Killing Us Softly 4, special guests; Pilar Gerasimo of Experience Life Magazine, Abby Stavig of Olson Advertising and Antonnette Trussoni of A&E Casting.

* War On Whistle Blowers, special guest professor and award winning author Heidi Kitrosser and 9/11 FBI Agent and whistleblower Coleen Rowley.

*Backyard Trailer Explosion, special guest film collector Mark Har and others TBD. 

*The Interrupters, special guests from the Alternative to Violence Project (AVP) and others TBD. 

*Salt of the Earth, special guests photographers Vance Gellert, Keith Holmes and others tbd. 

*May Art-A-Whirl Screening TBA!
